Architectural Concepts has over 35 years experience. The firm's principal has master-planned, designed, and completed over 100 projects for a variety of clients including private owners, non-profit and for-profit developers, major corporations, and governmental agencies and school districts. The firm's experience includes new and remodeled facilities of all types and uses, large and small commercial buildings, and large mixed-use commercial.
Architectural Concepts principal, John Cowee, has developed hospitals, laboratories, clinics and computer facilities for domestic and foreign clients. In addition, he has been a designer and master planner for new towns in the U.S., Canada, and Saudi Arabia. The work involved master planning the city layouts and design schools, hospitals, rapid transit, airline and public facilities.
Architectural Concepts designed Headstart Child Care facilities in Berkeley, CA and Oakland, CA. Our principal John Cowee was a consultant to the S.F. Unified School District for rehabilitation evaluation and corrective work on 108 schools and is a former City Planning Commissioner in El Cerrito, CA. He has also worked on facilities for several major clients including Kaiser Permanente, Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, United States Department of Agriculture, Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, and Union Oil Company.
